Obtaining a Library Card

To obtain a library card at Sayre Public Library, you'll need to fill out an application form and provide proof of residency. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver's license, voter ID, tax statement, or a current utility bill showing your address. For residents of Beckham County, library cards are free. Children under 18 will need a parent or guardian to apply on their behalf. 

Process 

1. Visit the Library: Head to the Sayre Public Library during their operating hours. 

2. Obtain an Application: Ask for a library card application at the circulation desk. 

3. Provide Proof of Residency: You will need to show a valid form of identification that includes your current address. 

4. Complete the Application: Fill out the application form with the required information, including your name, address, and contact details. 

5. Submit and Activate: Submit the completed application and your proof of residency. If you meet the requirements, your card will be active the same day.
